Project information

The vision and overall master plan for Pinnacle Park was to create a mixed-use town center development that would embody the essence of the League City/Bay Area and provide a place where people of all ages could gather together for a variety of activities, including shopping, dining, recreation, entertainment, and growing together as a community. The Corpus Houston museum study looked at the Pinnacle Park development and studied the siting opportunities for this interactive human body museum. The giant orange body of the museum is cut at its center, resting half inside and half outside of the museum.

“A journey through the human body” provides visitors a tour, beginning with an escalator ride to the knee, and slowly progressing through the human body, with the ability to observe the body functions throughout the tour. The museum’s upper floor features multiple interactives activities and a cafeteria, where visitors can continually look at the giant orange man through the glass walls beside them.
